For eight years now, since 2009-O-369 lawsuit was filed concerning County Road 220, the Caldwell County
commissioners have done nothing more than bring two criminal lawsuits against Frederick Wiegand Jr., even though he has lived
there peacefully for more than 69 years. The various reasons are these: 1. Caldwell County commissioners
have not taken care of the county road in many years, and up to today 11 January 2017, still do not want to properly maintain
to TX DOT required standards, the County Road 220; 2. Caldwell County commissioners have not wanted to take the
correct legal action of VACATING a portion of the abandoned County Road 220 which runs across the Wiegand Ranch Estate from
Cunningham Drive near US Highway 183 around the SouthWest quadrant of the city of Lockhart and connecting to FarmMarket Road
20 and Interstate Toll Road I130; 3. because once the abandonded portion of County Road 220 is vacated, then the local
crooked politicians will never be able to come back and subdivide the Wiegand properties, while at the same time wrongfully
denying the Wiegands their US and Texas rights to sell the land.
They have been replaced by the
voters with new Caldwell County commissioners court judge and a new Caldwell County Prosecuting DA. Reference
